Without a doubt the most impressive fleece jacket we've ever seen. More akin to a fully shearling jacket than a fleece one, it's inspired by some of the very first wool pile outdoor jackets, which hit the markets in the early 1970s. It's trimmed with a contrasting nylon fabric at the cuffs, pockets, collar, and seams, giving an extra pop of color that disrupts the cream body.
The body is a completely custom wool pile fabric, developed by the Real McCoy's and utilizing entirely natural fibers - featuring a cotton base that wool yarns are threaded through, and then finished to take on the feel and appearance of a shearling. It's cut roomy, for easy layering and comfortable wear. In order to produce these jackets, the Real McCoy's developed custom parts that were compatible with their vintage machines & powerful enough to sew through the thick, complex fabric.
These run quite large, and are cut with a relaxed, roomy fit that will sit on top of just about anything you want. The armholes are cut very tall and wide, to account for the heavy drape and folding of the fabric. The entire interior of the jacket is lined with a polyester mesh, keeping the whole thing breathable even if you're engaged in an activity.
Fits very large, we suggest most folks size down. Dry clean or spot clean only.
